DINE IN OR CARRY OUT AND CATERING

Located one block East of Broadway and one block South of Pacific Avenue in Downtown Everett, right across from Everett Station.  The Cafe is walking distance from the Everett Events Center. The building is charming;  built by Great Northern Railroad right around 1900. The Depot was operated for many years by the Milwaukee  Railroad until they closed in the 70's. The building has maintained most of it's original glass windows and architecture. Decorated in a very simple decor of antiques and train memorabilia.

This rustic American Cafe, founded in 2004,  has seating for up to 50 guests. With ample parking and easy access,  The Depot has become a favorite destination for afficianados of  BBQ and many other non- smoked favorites. The menu offers something for everyone. We sell today what we make today. The concept is "fresh, fresh, fresh".  Come in a try our from scratch, award winning BBQ and fresh menu items .

Look for Owner/Executive Chef/Pitmaster "Uncle Gilbert" Ruiz on the BBQ Competition Circuit. This year's events should include competitions in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Last year in 2006 Smokin' Red Wolf  BBQ Team and the Depot Cafe won a total of 11 competition cooking awards. 2007 started out well with a Grand Championship win at the Alan Hamner Memorial Cookoff in Condon Oregon and a total of 19 cooking awards for the 2007 season. We are now Nationally ranked at number 433 out of 1,033 teams in the nation.

About our BBQ. Our style is regional and we have taken different styles from around the country. Our Brisket is done Texas style , cooked over Mesquite. Our Pork  is  a Carolina style and our Pork sandwich comes with the slaw and sauce right on it. Our Ribs are Baby Back Pork Loin Ribs served Memphis style wet or dry. Our sauce, "Red Wolf BBQ Sauce", is  made from scratch in a Kansas City style, sweet, smoky, tangy and a little spicy. Available by the bottle in the Cafe to take home.

About our food. "Rustic American Fare." We shop daily. Our half pound burgers are "Natural Angus" many have said the best burger around. Our chicken is grown in Washington. We use organic and free range whenever possible. Produce is picked up locally and our salads start with organic spring mix. Our potato salad and slaw are made fresh daily and our  country style beans are a favorite. Come in and try one of our hand cut Ribeye Steaks. Check out our premium wine and micro-brew list!!

Very best regards from the Depot Cafe Family
